Rooms Consultation - you will need a consultation before any surgeryInitial Consultation Standard Fee: $160.00Initial Consult Aged Pension Card Holder: $140.00Medicare will rebate you approximately $71.40Follow up Appointment Standard Fee: $90.00Medicare will rebate you approximately $35.90Generally procedures done in the rooms are bulk-billed to Medicare, if you do not have a Medicare card additional charges may apply. Ensure you bring your Medicare card to your appointment.SurgeryDr Courtney operates privately at John Flynn Hospital, Pindara Hospital and Allamanda Private Hospital. He is a No Gap surgeon, which means that if you have private health insurance (hospital cover) you will not have any out of pocket expense for Dr Courtney's surgery. Generally we will bill your health fund directly, exceptions may apply. You do need to clarify with the hospital and anaesthetist about their fees as you may have to pay a gap on these fees.Dr Courtney also offers people that are uninsured an opportunity to go on an intermediate list at Gold Coast Hospital Southport and Gold Coast Hospital Robina and also options for The Tweed Hospital. For more information about this please talk to staff during business hours after your consultation.
